8. Who is your City Art Artist buddy? Joshua
9. What is your service experience (scope of service experience): As a youngster, I worked with Youth In Action serving on their Board of Directors and on their youth health education team. I’ve served for numerous years at a local soup kitchen and taught Sunday school at my church (as a teen). I’ve been connected to AS220 for several years. First as a student in Photographic Memory, then moving to intern with the Director of Broad Street Studio for a year in 2003, and have been serving on the Executive Board of AS220 since 2008. I also currently serve as a mentor to a young lady from the Providence community.
10. Do you have any previous connection to South Providence community? I am a South Providence native.
11. What is your favorite part of the Providence (Providence College) Community? My favorite part of the Providence Community is the rich arts culture and the diversity.
12. What did you want to be when you grew up when you were your buddy’s age? An Astronaut
13. Did you ever take any art classes when you were younger? Aside from art class in elementary school, my interest in the arts didn’t develop until high school. I took photography classes at AS220

16. What is the place of art, specifically in your own community? AS220, CityArts, New Urban Arts.
